Needlefelt Totoroby ~shadechristiwolven

This Totoro seems to have lost his friends. Where is everybody? Oh well, maybe he should just take a nap....

From the bottoms of his fuzzy feet to the tips of his fluffy ears, this Totoro stands at 11 inches tall! He towers over his friends but don't worry - he's a gentle giant.

This not-so-little guy is part of a set that was commissioned for Christmas; when the commissioner asked me to make a set of needlefelt plushes based on Hayao Miyazaki's film "My Neighbor Totoro" I was quite elated! I had been wanting to make Totoros for quite a while, and this was the perfect excuse. Since I doubt that the person receiving these gifts knows of my DA, I feel free to upload photos for you guys to see.

While I couldn't complete something in time for *this* Christmas, I am always accepting commissions for pieces like this one.
